Antennas

The primary antenna is a 370 feet long Off Center Fed (OCF) dipole. This antenna is mounted at 53 feet up the tower in inverted Vee config. The short element ties off to the neighbor's fence and the long element fastens to the back fence.

The next antenna is a Hygain Explorer 14 beam at 56 feet on a mast in the tower. It works well from 10 to 30 mHz with a tuner.

The third antenna is my NVIS center-fed dipole. It is mounted at 36 feet on the tower, is 140 feet long and fed with 35 feet of ladder line.

The last antenna on the tower is a 10 element beam for 2 meters. It is mounted at 60 feet on the mast in the tower. It is mounted vertically, for FM use.

The last antenna is a Cushcraft AR-270B. This is a vertical, mounted on the house at about 15 feet. I hope this one will be standing even under bad conditions. I use this with a dual bander when there are storms in the area. The old ICOM dual-bander runs off the battery.
